  1. I read this poem before asking you that question. I don't know whether I am right or wrong...I feel you are still in love with someone. Or you miss what you had.

As far as the poem goes, if it prompted me to ask you a personal question, I need not say how beautiful it is. :)

    1. I will neither agree nor disagree with your analysis for the sheer respect of the fact that I made someone think beyond the written word. Agreeing or disagreeing with it will trivialize both our efforts :).
I think every poet tries to add a personal angle to their creation by either picking a personal topic or adding their perspective to a hypothetical one. Some just simply add their name or pen name in an artistic way in every poem. I am no different :).

I am always very glad when you read and analyze my work as I want people to do.

      Thanks for visiting :)

    2. Hmmm... I rarely put my personal experiences in my poem. 'It hurts' and 'The day I drowned in my own tears' are two which can be categorized as personal. Though I always exaggerate what I observe.

It's always a different experience reading your work. There is always some connect with all your posts. :-)

  2. Atee Uttam, Prateek. So much depth, so much pathos in your composition.

    1. Thanks a lot Purba. It was a little hard to pen it as I was writing Hindi after a long time but I am glad it got a good response and I could convey myself.

As always, your opinion matters a lot to me, so thanks a lot for visiting!

    1. I am glad that somebody could finally read it in a gender-neutral and success-failure vein rather than just a love story...Welcome to the blog RJ :)

  8. Interesting writing Prateek .... one often keeps wondering what one has lost, what one has gained. .....redefining success and failure. ..and who or what was responsible for the distance. .....rishto ki duriya samajna mushkil hai.....

I just happened to visit to blog and I am totally gripped by your work..:)
It's beautiful how you have in the name of love described yet so many emotions. Failures, success, distances and the aftermaths and what not.. in a few lines your have spoken with so much of depth that the poem stands out as really REALLY good..:)
